Cancer season and half-year resolutions.

I’ve never been one to celebrate my half-birthday (no judgement if that’s you!) but I’ve always been a fan of making new resolutions at the year’s mid-point. I’ve actually had more success when I make resolutions at this time, and I suspect this may have something to do with astrological timing. Sure, one could argue that January 1st is a preferable time to get oneself on track, as that’s when the sun is in Capricorn….the most goal-oriented sign in the zodiac. But I believe that Cancer season—a time when we’re most in touch with our emotional needs—is the best time to make habits that last. July 1st has marked a lot of self-nurturing firsts for me personally; it’s a date I can link back to starting my pescetarian diet, daily yoga practice and twice weekly zumba workouts, among other healthy habits that have stuck around.

And while it might currently seem tempting to just sleep through the rest of 2020 (yep, I feel you), it’s important to point out that this year’s long transit of Mars in Aries is very supportive of initiating new habits—particularly with respect to taking care of our bodies. That being said, we’re still dealing with some sluggish retrograde energy and heavy Capricorn stuff testing our strength, so the second half of this year is all about getting in tip-top shape in order to push through challenges.

It's for this reason that I’m offering a special half-year ahead reading, which can be delivered in the form of a 50-minute astrological transit reading or 50-minute tarot reading covering the next 6 months. If you're curious to know how the upcoming Mars transit—along with the other major astrological movements—will affect you personally, these readings are a great way to get prepared and work proactively with the astro weather.

I’d love for you to check out these fresh summer specials on my website and feel free to connect with any questions. Readings also make unique gifts for loved ones, and I offer electronic gift certificates.

Happy half year and best of luck with your resolutions!
