Mars in Aries square Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn: testing strength

Updated: Aug 30, 2020

Whether you're looking to invest in your first tarot deck or add a new one to your collection, I highly recommend looking at 'The Art of Life' tarot deck, which fuses beautiful works of art with profound quotes. It almost acts as an oracle deck, offering words of wisdom and helping you set daily intentions. And if you're into art history, all of the most notable masterpieces from several different eras are included to inspire your creativity.

The other morning, I pulled the Strength card from this deck; featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth 1 by George Gower, alongside the quote: ‘he knows not his own strength that hath not met adversity’, from Francis Bacon. Strength is generally associated with the magnetic presence of Leo’s ruling planet, the Sun, but it also represents our vitality and what it takes to achieve mastery. I feel that this Leo symbolism, in conjunction with the quote featured on this card can easily be connected to the current transit of Mars squaring Saturn and Pluto. This is certainly a time of wanting to rise up and accomplish our goals, yet being tested through resistance and power plays. Essentially, we’ve signed up for a spiritual boot camp for the rest of 2020, and the message is to do your best to keep going...keep stretching and fighting, even when it feels like the odds are stacked against you. The strength card always guarantees improvement if you can just stick with it.

Are you feeling the strong energy of this transit? This astrological weather is shaking up my 9th and 6th houses, and my spiritual beliefs and daily routines have certainly been activated. If you’re curious, but unsure of what part of your chart is highlighted, feel free to book a reading with me (link in bio); I’d love to help you navigate this shift!
